WELCOME
Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to the well being of Hawaii’s unwanted, rejected, abandoned, abused or otherwise neglected animals, especially companion animals. Our services include rescuing, fostering, provision of food, medical care and safe sheltering of these creatures until they can be permanently placed into caring and responsible homes. Some animals may live out their lives at the Sanctuary, or foster locations, or be returned to their human companions. We are currently at capacity in the Sanctuary. Rainbow Friends appreciates your continued contributions to our 50 dogs and over 200 cats, as we continue the work to find them placement in loving homes. We are unable to accept any new animals at this time. Mahalo for your understanding and support.

Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary is most grateful for the $20,000 Petco LOVE grant award for our lifesaving community programs of animal rescue, the Spay/Neuter of 4400 animals and finding caring adoption homes for pets. This award has been especially meaningful, allowing us to carry on our work during the related COVID-19 events affecting the people and pets of our island.
